2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Income Tax Act is amended by
5changing Section 1106 as follows:
6 (35 ILCS 5/1106) (from Ch. 120, par. 11-1106)
7 Sec. 1106. Nonliability for Costs. The The Department shall
8not be required to furnish any bond nor to make a deposit for
9or pay any costs or fees of any court or officer thereof in any
10legal proceedings pursuant to the provisions of this Act.
