1 AN ACT concerning courts.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Judicial Vacancies Act is amended by
5changing Section 3 as follows:
6 (705 ILCS 40/3) (from Ch. 37, par. 72.43)
7 Sec. 3. If any provision of this Act or the the application
8thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the
9invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of
10this Act which can be given effect without the invalid
11provision or application, and to this end the provisions of
12this Act are severable.
