Bill Title: Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that, after consulting with affected State agencies, the Department of Central Management Services may adopt rules to facilitate electronic filing and rules governing practice and procedure in administrative hearings. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Department of Central Management Services
Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by
adding Section 405-135 as follows:
(20 ILCS 405/405-135 new)
Sec. 405-135. Rulemaking for administrative hearing
procedure. After consulting with affected State agencies, the
Department of Central Management Services may adopt rules to
facilitate electronic filing and rules governing practice and
procedure in administrative hearings. Agencies that do not use
the Department for administrative hearing support shall not be
subject to any rulemaking or rules under this Section.
