2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Glenn M. Herberger of Waukegan, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on November 17, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Glenn Herberger served in the military during the | ||||||
6 | Korean War; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Glenn Herberger retired from Abbott Labs after 37 | ||||||
8 | years; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Glenn Herberger was preceded in death by his wife | ||||||
10 | of 66 years, Betty Lou "Cork" Herberger; his parents, Glenn Sr. | ||||||
11 | and Margaret (Smart) Herberger; Gramma Mamie; and his only son, | ||||||
12 | Keith Herberger; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Glenn Herberger is survived by his daughters, | ||||||
14 | Karen (Ed), Susan, and Barbara; his grandchildren, Mark, Holli | ||||||
15 | (Michael), Julie (Josh), David, Nicholas, Christy, and Daniel; | ||||||
16 | his brother, Jack; several nieces and nephews; and countless | ||||||
17 | friends; therefore, be it

18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
20 | Glenn M. Herberger and extend our sincere condolences to his |
