2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Richard "Rick" Corder Sr. of Rock | ||||||
4 | Island, who passed away on December 11, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Richard Corder was born to Carl and Mable | ||||||
6 | (Foster) Corder in Moline on March 5, 1944; he served during | ||||||
7 | the Vietnam Conflict in the United States Marine Corps and was | ||||||
8 | awarded a Purple Heart; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Richard Corder enjoyed golf and bowling; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Richard Corder was preceded in death by his | ||||||
11 | parents and his brother; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Richard Corder is survived by his sons, Rick | ||||||
13 | (Jen) Corder and Bryan Corder; his grandchildren, Jessica, | ||||||
14 | Brittney, Dale, and Hunter; his great-grandchildren, Jaden, | ||||||
15 | Jayce, Maci, and James; his sister, Karen (Dave) Schwartzkopf; | ||||||
16 | his brother, Kevin (Colleen) Corder; and several nieces and | ||||||
17 | nephews; therefore, be it

18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
20 | Richard "Rick" Corder Sr. and extend our sincere condolences |
