2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Blanche M. Thompson of Arlington Heights, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on February 10, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Blanche Thompson was born in Chicago on September | ||||||
6 | 21, 1924; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Blanche Thompson was a longtime member of the | ||||||
8 | administrative staff of Des Plaines School District 62, | ||||||
9 | including for many years as the Executive Assistant to the | ||||||
10 | Superintendent; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Blanche Thompson was a member of Trinity Lutheran | ||||||
12 | Church in Des Plaines for over 60 years; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Blanche Thompson was preceded in death by her | ||||||
14 | husband of 66 years, Harry E. Thompson Jr., and her | ||||||
15 | granddaughter, Sarah Thompson; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Blanche Thompson is survived by her children, Mark | ||||||
17 | (Janet) Thompson, Randy Thompson, and Laurie (Fred) Tennyson; | ||||||
18 | her grandchildren, Christine (Billy) Ashby, Clay Thompson, | ||||||
19 | Kyle Tennyson, and Thea Zalabak; her great-grandchildren, | ||||||
20 | Sarah and Hannah Ashby; and her brother, Richard (Elaine) |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | Blanche M. Thompson, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
5 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
6 | further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
