| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Louis J. McKenna of County Derry, | ||||||
| 4 | Northern Ireland, who passed away on April 15, 2011; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, He was born on October 3, 1922 in Swatragh, County | ||||||
| 6 | Derry, Northern Ireland; he immigrated to the United States in | ||||||
| 7 | 1953; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen T. | ||||||
| 9 | (nee, Lakes); and his siblings, Albert, John, Joe, Vada, | ||||||
| 10 | Theresa, Gerry, and Eddy; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Louis McKenna is survived by his children, Maureen | ||||||
| 12 | (Thomas) O'Malley, Eileen, John (Kathleen), Thomas | ||||||
| 13 | (Catherine), James (Susan), Daniel (Margaret), and Siobhan | ||||||
| 14 | (Joseph) Sullivan; he was the cherished grandfather of Maureen | ||||||
| 15 | (John) Cradick, Kathleen (John) Scaletta, James Kinsella, | ||||||
| 16 | Patrick, Mary, Michael, and John O'Malley, Kelley, Jack, Molly, | ||||||
| 17 | Colleen, Annie, Brian, Eileen, Bridget, Joseph, Matthew, and | ||||||
| 18 | Sara McKenna, and Daniel Sullivan; he was the proud | ||||||
| 19 | great-grandfather of Emily and Ryan Scaletta; he was the fond | ||||||
| 20 | brother of Mary McKenna; he was the dear uncle of many; and he | ||||||
| 21 | was a true friend to countless people; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 3 | his family and friends, the passing of Louis McKenna; and be it | ||||||
| 4 | further
