| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of James E. Milligan of Milan, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, James Milligan was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas | ||||||
| 6 | to Gordon and Lee Whitmire Milligan on July 6, 1934; he married | ||||||
| 7 | Jolene Hoisington in Marseilles on February 24, 1996; he was a | ||||||
| 8 | United States Army veteran; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, James Milligan was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 10 | parents; his children, Jimmy, Jamie, and Timothy Milligan; his | ||||||
| 11 | siblings, Gordon, George, and Bob Milligan, Dexter Preston, | ||||||
| 12 | Daphene Osborne, and Jessee Samaha; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, James Milligan is survived by his wife; his son, | ||||||
| 14 | Todd (Andrea) Milligan; his stepsons, Jeff, Joe (Michele), and | ||||||
| 15 | Jamie (Heather) Hoisington; five grandchildren; several | ||||||
| 16 | great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; his sister, Charlene | ||||||
| 17 | (Earl) Dreon; and his brother, Ray (Joy) Milligan; therefore, | ||||||
| 18 | be it

| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 21 | James E. Milligan, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||

| 1 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
