| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Shannon M. Boyd, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | January 17, 2022; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Shannon Boyd was born to Diane (Marti) Boyd and | ||||||
| 6 | John Boyd in Sheridan, Colorado on October 25, 1971; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Shannon Boyd was a speech pathologist for East | ||||||
| 8 | Elementary School; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Shannon Boyd was very active with autism | ||||||
| 10 | awareness programs and in her community; she will be | ||||||
| 11 | remembered as a woman with a huge heart, a beacon of light who | ||||||
| 12 | helped children and families and touched the lives of many in | ||||||
| 13 | her community and beyond; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Shannon Boyd was preceded in death by her father; | ||||||
| 15 | her father-in-law, Lonzo Roberts; and her mother-in-law, | ||||||
| 16 | Shirley Roberts; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Shannon Boyd is survived by her mother; her | ||||||
| 18 | husband, David A. Roberts; her son, Matthew E. Roberts; her | ||||||
| 19 | daughter, Alexis M. Roberts; her brothers, James (Jennifer) | ||||||
| 20 | Boyd and Gary (Melissa) Boyd; her sisters-in-law, Nancy | ||||||

| 1 | Roberts and Cindy Pingel; her nieces, Zoey and Elizabeth; her | ||||||
| 2 | nephews, Zachary and Kory Boyd and Eric and Kevin McRoberts; | ||||||
