2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Margaret Elizabeth "Peg" Pratt of Green | ||||||
4 | Valley, who passed away on August 16, 2010; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, She was born on July 17, 1924 in Peoria to Oscar | ||||||
6 | and Anna (Steinseifer) Schultz; she married David Lee Pratt on | ||||||
7 | July 12, 1962 in Bloomington; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, She was a former member of the Blue Eye United | ||||||
9 | Methodist Church in Blue Eye, Missouri; she worked as the | ||||||
10 | assistant activities director for Bel-Wood Nursing Home in | ||||||
11 | Peoria; she later worked for Medical Surgical Supply in Peoria, | ||||||
12 | working with Peoria-area hospitals; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the | ||||||
14 | Limestone Fire Department; she also was a volunteer at Skaggs | ||||||
15 | Hospital in Branson, Missouri; her hobbies included fishing, | ||||||
16 | traveling, doing crafts, cooking, and entertaining; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; and her | ||||||
18 | daughter, Peggy Ann Elmore; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Margaret Pratt is survived by her husband, David; | ||||||
20 | her daughter, Cheryl Lynn (James) Hayes; and her 2 grandsons, |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
4 | her family and friends, the passing of Margaret Pratt; and be | ||||||
5 | it further
| ||||||
6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to the family of Margaret Pratt as a symbol of our | ||||||
8 | sincere sympathy.
