| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Robert C. Moehling of Marengo, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on March 28, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Robert Moehling was born on March 31, 1928 in | ||||||
| 6 | Palatine to Henry and Henrietta Moehling; he graduated from | ||||||
| 7 | Palatine High School and was united in marriage to Vera C. | ||||||
| 8 | Moehling on October 16, 1948 in Palatine; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Robert Moehling worked as a farmer in Union with | ||||||
| 10 | his wife; he served as Riley Township Road Commissioner for | ||||||
| 11 | over 20 years and drove trucks for John Rabe and Herb Swallace | ||||||
| 12 | Trucking companies; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Robert Moehling had a great love of music and | ||||||
| 14 | played the concertina for most of his life; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Robert Moehling was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 16 | parents; his wife; and by his grandson, Kip; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Robert Moehling is survived by his sons, Dale | ||||||
| 18 | (Brenda) Moehling, Don Moehling, and Dennis A. (Debbie) | ||||||
| 19 | Moehling; his grandchildren, Kimberlee (Jeff), Kacee (Peter), | ||||||
| 20 | Donald (Jody), Tim (Lisa), and Sara (Dimitri); his | ||||||

| |||||||
| 1 | great-grandchildren, Kiylee, Kip, Karmin, Destinee, Adee, | ||||||
| 2 | Ashton, Aubrie, Kendall, Zander, and Nikos; and his brother, | ||||||
| 3 | Marvin (Dorothy) Moehling; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 6 | Robert C. Moehling, and express our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 7 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 8 | further

| 9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
