2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Mary L. Wright, who passed away on | ||||||
4 | July 14, 2022; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mary Wright was born to Bunester Robinson Nichols | ||||||
6 | and William Nichols in Chicago on October 15, 1941; she | ||||||
7 | graduated from Wendell Phillips High School; she later married | ||||||
8 | James E. Wright, and they had two daughters; she was a | ||||||
9 | long-time resident of Maywood, living there for over 40 years; | ||||||
10 | and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Mary Wright worked as a kitchen manager for Red | ||||||
12 | Lobster for 20 years; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Mary Wright committed to her faith at an early | ||||||
14 | age; she enjoyed spending time with her family, laughing, | ||||||
15 | joking, and having a great time; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Mary Wright will be remembered for her soft and | ||||||
17 | giving heart as well as her feisty attitude; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Mary Wright was preceded in death by her parents; | ||||||
19 | her husband, James; and her daughter, Tabitha; and

1 | WHEREAS, Mary Wright is survived by her daughter, Tracy D. | ||||||
2 | Wright (Garrett Body); her grandchildren, Jeffery L. Thompson, | ||||||
3 | Latreca E. T. Tabron, Larry E. Tabron III, and Garionna L. | ||||||
4 | Body; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Mary L. Wright and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
8 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
9 | further
| ||||||
10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
11 | presented to the family of Mary Wright as an expression of our | ||||||
12 | deepest sympathy.
