2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Frank Joseph Bartolone of Park Ridge, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on July 3, 2024; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone was born to Sam and Rose | ||||||
6 | Bartolone in Chicago on February 5, 1931; he was a resident of | ||||||
7 | Park Ridge for more than 50 years; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone worked as a certified financial | ||||||
9 | planner for Ameriprise Financial, providing financial advice | ||||||
10 | to individuals on how to prepare and save for college, | ||||||
11 | retirement, and other major financial goals; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone was a dedicated community leader | ||||||
13 | and served Park Ridge in multiple roles, including as an | ||||||
14 | alderperson from 1993 to 2003, during which he represented the | ||||||
15 | city's 7th Ward, and as board chairman of the Bensenville | ||||||
16 | Community Credit Union; and

17 | WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone loved golfing and traveling; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone was a beloved husband, father, | ||||||
19 | grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother; and

2 | Dorothy Louise (Mammoser) Bartolone; the father of Christine | ||||||
3 | (Tim) Stoner, David (Julia) Bartolone, Robert (Mary Lescher) | ||||||
4 | Bartolone, Dean (Patty) Bartolone, Diane Kurtz, and Susan | ||||||
5 | (Mike) Mallahan; the grandfather of 18; the great-grandfather | ||||||
6 | of four; and the brother of seven; therefore, be it
