| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of David William Mehuys of Moline, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on October 20, 2022; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, David Mehuys was born to William and Ruth (Harms) | ||||||
| 6 | Mehuys in Germany on October 30, 1950; he served in the U.S. | ||||||
| 7 | Army during the Vietnam War; he married Rebecca Foreman in | ||||||
| 8 | Missouri in 2003; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, David Mehuys worked at the Rock Island Arsenal | ||||||
| 10 | for many years; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, David Mehuys loved music and being in the | ||||||
| 12 | mountains; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, David Mehuys is survived by his wife; his | ||||||
| 14 | children, Adam (Anita) Mehuys, Michael Mehuys, and Omega | ||||||
| 15 | (Stephan) Dipple; his stepchildren, Chad Wright and Emily | ||||||
| 16 | (Cedric) Cisneros; his granddaughter, Astarael Handelman; his | ||||||
| 17 | step-grandchildren, Allysa and Averi Wright; and his siblings, | ||||||
| 18 | Christopher and John Mehuys; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
| 20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
