2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Donald "Don" Shaw of Springfield, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on December 12, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Donald Shaw was born in Van Wert, Ohio to Don and | ||||||
6 | Margaret Shaw on September 26, 1945; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Donald Shaw worked as a disability adjudicator for | ||||||
8 | 30 years; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Donald Shaw loved to play pool, read, and watch | ||||||
10 | Chicago Cubs games; he was a member of the Sons of the American | ||||||
11 | Legion; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Donald Shaw was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
13 | and his grandparents, Lillian and Delbert Shaw and Ralph and | ||||||
14 | Pearl Stettler; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Donald Shaw is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his | ||||||
16 | daughter, Mary (Shawn Berry) Shaw; his grandson, Lucas Berry; | ||||||
17 | his sister, Sarah (Tom) Eickinberg; his aunt, Helen Murphy; and | ||||||
18 | numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins; therefore, be it

19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
