| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Mary Ellen (Corcoran) Knight, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on November 4, 2021; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Mary Ellen Knight was born on July 12, 1955; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Mary Ellen Knight was the beloved wife of James | ||||||
| 7 | Knight; the loving mother of Jason (Shannon), Dillon | ||||||
| 8 | (Dominique), and the late Anthony "Tony" Knight; the dearest | ||||||
| 9 | sister of Michele (the late Stan) Nowak, Tim (Jan) Corcoran, | ||||||
| 10 | Maribeth (Tom) Purtle, Patti (Kevin) Walsh, and Liane (Jim) | ||||||
| 11 | Birk; the dear sister-in-law of Fred (Christine) and the late | ||||||
| 12 | Joseph Knight; and the cherished aunt of many nieces and | ||||||
| 13 | nephews; therefore, be it

| 14 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
| 15 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 16 | Mary Ellen (Corcoran) Knight and extend our sincere | ||||||
| 17 | condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
| 18 | her; and be it further
