| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Leroy "Lee" A. Webster of Springfield, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on July 4, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Lee Webster was born to Leroy Sr. and Marie | ||||||
6 | (Pastrovich) Webster in St. Louis, Missouri on March 17, 1945; | ||||||
7 | he served in the Air National Guard; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, For 32 years, Lee Webster ran the successful | ||||||
9 | Springfield restaurant Jolly Tamale, which started out as Taco | ||||||
10 | Gringo; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Lee Webster was a volunteer firefighter in | ||||||
12 | Divernon for many years; he also served on the board of | ||||||
13 | Divernon; he was strong, smart, loving and caring; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Lee Webster is survived by his wife, Celeste | ||||||
15 | Webster; and his son, Jason (Staci) Webster; therefore, be it
| ||||||
16 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
17 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
| ||||||
18 | Leroy "Lee" A. Webster and extend our sincere
condolences to | ||||||
19 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
him; and be it | ||||||
