SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Marjorie A. Baldoni of Crystal Lake, who
passed away on May 22, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Marjorie Baldoni was born on August 16, 1914 in
Morton to William and Ida (nee Moschel) Eisele; she married
Andrew A. Baldoni on September 26, 1942 in Pekin; and
WHEREAS, Marjorie Baldoni worked as a secretary while her
husband attended college, entered the United States Army, and
went to graduate school; she enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom
and raising her children; she eventually returned to work and
worked for the McHenry County Title Company and the State of
Illinois, from where she retired; and
WHEREAS, Marjorie Baldoni enjoyed playing bridge, golf,
and traveling around the world with her husband; she was an
active member of the Crystal Lake Women's Club, the Service
League, the League of Women Voters, and various book clubs; and
WHEREAS, Marjorie Baldoni was preceded in death by her
husband, as well as by many dear friends and relatives; and
WHEREAS, Marjorie Baldoni is survived by her 2 sons, Andrew

A. Baldoni, Jr. (Judy) and William B. Baldoni; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Marjorie A. Baldoni, and extend our sincere condolences to her
family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Marjorie Baldoni as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
