| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of United States Army Private Aaron Toppen | ||||||
| 4 | of Mokena, who passed away on June 9, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Private Aaron Toppen was a graduate of Lincoln-Way | ||||||
| 6 | East High School; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Private Aaron Toppen will be remembered fondly by | ||||||
| 8 | all who knew and loved him as a funny, caring, and loving kid | ||||||
| 9 | who loved fishing the outdoors, and spending time with his | ||||||
| 10 | family and friends; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Private Aaron Toppen's patriotism and courage | ||||||
| 12 | will be remembered fondly by his loving family, his fellow | ||||||
| 13 | soldiers, and the citizens of our grateful nation; therefore, | ||||||
| 14 | be it

| 15 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 16 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 17 | family and friends, mourn the passing of United States Army | ||||||
| 18 | Private Aaron Toppen; and be it further

| 19 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 20 | presented to the family of Private Aaron Toppen as an | ||||||
