| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Donald Means of Milan, who passed away | ||||||
| 4 | on December 12, 2022; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Donald Means was born to John and Elnora | ||||||
| 6 | (Skinner) Means on July 28, 1939; he served in the U.S. Navy; | ||||||
| 7 | he married Verna Pettyjohn; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Donald Means worked as a welder at John Deere and | ||||||
| 9 | Tri-City Fabrication; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Donald Means is survived by his wife, Verna; his | ||||||
| 11 | children, Donald (Tammy) Means Jr., Walter (Cheryl) Means, and | ||||||
| 12 | Lisa (Tracy) Anderson; eight grandchildren; and eight | ||||||
| 13 | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 14 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
| 15 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 16 | Donald Means and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | ||||||
| 17 | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
| ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 19 | presented to the family of Donald Means as an expression of our | ||||||
| 20 | deepest sympathy.
