2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Margaret M. Snelten of Lake in the Hills, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on November 6, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Margaret Snelten was born in Evanston on October | ||||||
6 | 25, 1921; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Margaret Snelten was a social butterfly who took a | ||||||
8 | caring and true interest in the lives of others; she was | ||||||
9 | fiercely independent, had a sharp sense of humor, and amazed | ||||||
10 | people with her quick wit; she cherished her many years playing | ||||||
11 | baseball and was constantly active in her garden; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Margaret Snelten was preceded in death by her | ||||||
13 | daughter, Debra Wieber; her sisters, Eleanor and Lucille; and | ||||||
14 | her brothers, Jerry, Lambert, Lawrence and John; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Margaret Snelten was the beloved wife of the late | ||||||
16 | John J.; the beloved mother of Diane (Peter) Sorensen, David | ||||||
17 | (Julie) Snelten, and Donald Snelten; the adored grandmother of | ||||||
18 | Fallon (Guy) Dickson, Tara Wieber, John Snelten, Brooke | ||||||
19 | Snelten, Jaclyn (Jeremy) Manning, Matthew Wieber, Kevin | ||||||
20 | Sorensen, DJ Snelten, Mark Wieber, and Rob Wieber; and the | ||||||
21 | loving great-grandmother of Giuliana Dickson and David |

3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||

5 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
