| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Guy F. De Vita, who passed away on April | ||||||
4 | 20, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Guy De Vita was born in Chicago to Anthony and | ||||||
6 | Josephine De Vita on July 12, 1924; he attended the Chicago | ||||||
7 | National College of Naprapathy, where he earned his bachelor of | ||||||
8 | science degree and his Doctorate of Naprapathy; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Guy De Vita later attended the National College of | ||||||
10 | Chiropractic in Lombard and became a nutritionist; he went on | ||||||
11 | to teach Naprapathy, serve as the dean of academics, and as a | ||||||
12 | member of the board of education; he also taught Italian at | ||||||
13 | McHenry County College; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Guy De Vita was a loving husband, father, | ||||||
15 | grandfather, and great-grandfather; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Guy De Vita was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
17 | his son, Frank De Vita; his first wife, Rose De Vita; and his | ||||||
18 | sister-in-law, Blanch De Vita; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Guy De Vita is survived by his wife, Nancy; his | ||||||
20 | son, Tony (Deborah) De Vita; his grandchildren, Tony (Katie) De |

1 | Vita, Michael De Vita, and Christina (Dan Lewis) De Vita; his | ||||||
2 | great-grandchildren, Anna, Andrew, Sara, and Ryan; and his | ||||||
3 | brother, Frank De Vita; therefore, be it

4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
6 | Guy F. De Vita and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
7 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
8 | further
| ||||||
9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
10 | presented to the family of Guy De Vita as an expression of our | ||||||
11 | deepest sympathy.
