2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Loretta B. Zaker, who passed away on July | ||||||
4 | 1, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Loretta Zaker was born on October 26, 1927 in | ||||||
6 | North Chicago; her parents were John and Frances Koncan; she | ||||||
7 | married Vince Zaker on April 24, 1948; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Loretta Zaker worked at many different jobs during | ||||||
9 | her lifetime before retiring from the City of North Chicago | ||||||
10 | after many years of service; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Loretta Zaker was preceded in death by her | ||||||
12 | husband, Vince; her parents; her daughter, Debra (Scott) | ||||||
13 | Sleddens; her brother, John (Julia), Bill, and Leo Koncan; and | ||||||
14 | her sisters, Sylvia (John) Zaugra and Phyllis (Joe) Foltz; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Loretta Zaker is survived by her daughters, | ||||||
16 | Loretta (the late Chuck) Gesky, Bonnie (Dave) Brogan, and | ||||||
17 | Roberta (Steve) McKay; her grandchildren, Phyllis Fortson, | ||||||
18 | Sara Ames, C.J. Gesky, John Brogan, Meredith Schueneman, Kyle, | ||||||
19 | April, and Jillian McKay, and Alex and Vincent Sleddens; 11 | ||||||
20 | great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her brother, Tom | ||||||
21 | (Lois) Koncan; and her sisters-in-law, Bea Koncan and Loraine |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
4 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Loretta B. Zaker; and | ||||||
5 | be it further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to the family of Loretta Zaker as an expression of | ||||||
