| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Genevieve S. Blackowicz of North Chicago; | ||||||
| 4 | and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Genevieve Blackowicz was born in Waukegan to | ||||||
| 6 | Joseph and Natalie (Orlowski) Rajuniec on July 14, 1924; she | ||||||
| 7 | married Leo Blackowicz in North Chicago on July 19, 1947; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Genevieve Blackowicz was affectionately known as | ||||||
| 9 | "Ma" to everyone and loved by all who knew her; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Genevieve Blackowicz was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 11 | parents and her husband of over 50 years, Leo; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Genevieve Blackowicz is survived by her sons, | ||||||
| 13 | Robert (Patricia) Blackowicz, David Blackowicz (Pam Ingram), | ||||||
| 14 | and Michael Blackowicz Sr.; her grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, | ||||||
| 15 | Amanda, Sam, and Michael Jr.; and numerous | ||||||
| 16 | great-grandchildren, including Ethan, Ella, and Andon; | ||||||
| 17 | therefore, be it

| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 20 | Genevieve S. Blackowicz, and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||

| |||||||
| 1 | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
