2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Margaret Frankel May of Waukegan, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on October 21, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Margaret May was born on July 22, 1927 in Chicago; | ||||||
6 | her parents were Hugo and Catherine Frankel; she married | ||||||
7 | Charles M. May on September 8, 1951; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Margaret May was an employee of the Chicago Title | ||||||
9 | and Trust Company; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Margaret May was a member of St. Anastasia Church; | ||||||
11 | she was a volunteer at St. Anastasia Church and School and | ||||||
12 | Carmel High School; she was also president of the Waukegan | ||||||
13 | Junior Women's League and a member of Glen Flora Country Club; | ||||||
14 | and

15 | WHEREAS, Margaret May was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
16 | Charles; her parents; her sister, Loretta Marren; her brother, | ||||||
17 | Hugo; an infant sister; her brother-in-law, John Duff; and her | ||||||
18 | son-in-law, Wesley Ley; and

19 | WHEREAS, Margaret May is survived by her children, David | ||||||
20 | (Anne), Richard, Maureen (Paul Pennington), Kenneth (Vivian), |

10 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
11 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Margaret Frankel May; | ||||||
