SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Charles C. "Chuck" Barr Jr. of McHenry,
who passed away on October 5, 2016; and
WHEREAS, Charles Barr Jr. was born in Chicago on January
28, 1942; he served in the United States Army; he married Judy
in Roselle on May 12, 1973 and they spent the last 41 years in
the McHenry area; and
WHEREAS, Charles Barr Jr. was preceded in death by his son,
Matthew; his brother-in-law, Jack; his brother-in-law, George;
his mother-in-law, Dorothy Altman; and his parents; and
WHEREAS, Charles Barr Jr. is survived by his wife of 43
years, Judy; his sons, Ryan (Jodi), Tyler (Rebecca), and Adam
(Tracy) Barr; his grandchildren, Collin, Emma, Charlotte,
Mayson, Owen, Jackson, Lucy, and Tyson; his sisters-in-law,
Gail Williams, and Lynne (Tom) Connolly; his brother-in-law,
Mike (Kate) Altman; his sister-in-law, Jan Moshure; and many
nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Charles C. "Chuck" Barr Jr., and extend our sincere condolences

to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Charles Barr Jr. as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
