    A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning state offices and administration.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SOURCE: IC 1-1-15; (12)IN1061.1.1. -->     SECTION 1. IC 1-1-15 IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA CODE AS A NEW CHAPTER TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2012]:
     Chapter 15. Patriots' Day
     Sec. 1. The governor shall issue a proclamation annually designating the nineteenth day of April as Patriots' Day, and recommending therein that the day be observed by the people in honoring patriots and in conducting suitable exercises having reference to the contributions and sacrifices made by patriots of Indiana and the nation.
