Bill Title: Teacher evaluations. Defines the term "qualified school district". Provides that each qualified school district shall develop and maintain a teacher performance plan that must be in writing and approved by the department of education (department). Provides that teacher evaluations must be based on statistically verifiable measures of student instructional improvement goals that are approved by the qualified school district after discussing and receiving input from the teachers. Provides that certain teachers who teach at a school that has not been identified by the department as a school subject to comprehensive support and improvement pursuant to the federal Every Student Succeeds
