A HOUSE RESOLUTION recognizing Benjamin Bosse
High School.
Whereas, Benjamin Bosse High School, Evansville, has
achieved outstanding academic progress;
Whereas, Through the dedicated efforts of the
administration, faculty, and students, Benjamin Bosse High
School is among the top improving schools in Indiana;
Whereas, Benjamin Bosse High School has achieved a 20.7
improvement rating based on the Adequate Yearly Progress
(AYP) index, while the state average was -1.2; and
Whereas, The people of the state of Indiana applaud
Benjamin Bosse High School in its pursuit of excellence in
education and encourage the school's future endeavors:
Therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the
General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives congratulates the administration, faculty, and students of Benjamin Bosse High School for their accomplishments and encourages them to keep striving for excellence in education.
SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit copies of this resolution to Sheila L. Huff, principal of Benjamin Bosse High School, and Dr. David Smith, superintendent of Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation.
