    A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION congratulating Cindi Baumgartner on being named Teacher of the Year by the Learning Disabilities Association of America.

    Whereas, Cindi Baumgartner of LaSalle Academy received the Teacher of the Year award from the Learning Disabilities Association of America;

    Whereas, Baumgartner works with students with various disabilities, including autism and attention-deficit disorder;

    Whereas, Colleagues and students alike are impressed with Baumgartner's genuine desire to get to know each and every student. It is this passionate dedication to the students that makes her such a deserving recipient of this award;

    Whereas, Baumgartner is in her fifth year at LaSalle Academy. Baumgartner changed careers after 18 years in the medical coding business and now devotes her career to being an educator; and

    Whereas, Educator Cindi Baumgartner is recognized for her dedication to successfully preparing LaSalle Academy students: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate     of the General Assembly

of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives     concurring:

    SECTION 1. The Indiana General Assembly congratulates Cindi Baumgartner on being named Teacher of the Year by the Learning Disabilities Association of America .
    SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Cindi Baumgartner and the principal of LaSalle Academy.
