A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION congratulating Kimberly A.
Pinkerton on winning the Indiana Chamber Executive Association's
2011 Chamber Executive of the Year Award.
Whereas, Kimberly Pinkerton, a graduate of Huntington
College, now serves as President of the Wabash County
Chamber of Commerce;
Whereas, Ms. Pinkerton's 12 years of service in the
Chamber of Commerce industry and 20 years of experience
in business have helped deliver crucial resources to the
business community;
Whereas, Her leadership at the Chamber has helped to
foster collaboration between businesses and the community.
She has brought excellent programs that rival Chambers
twice the size of Wabash County's;
Whereas, Ms. Pinkerton has steered the Chamber during
one of the worst economic storms in state and national
history. Her fiscal responsibility has earned her respect and
praise from fellow Chamber executives;
Whereas, Valuing professional development, Ms. Pinkerton is often the first one contacted to help new Chamber executives and staff succeed in the industry. She is an excellent motivator, and has even assisted in the creation
of training videos and audio tracks for those new to the
Chamber;
Whereas, Ms. Pinkerton has led seminars at Indiana
Chamber Executive Association conferences, always
delivering innovative programming; and
Whereas, Kimberly Pinkerton exemplifies what it is to be
a professional Chamber executive. Her leadership,
dedication, and experience have brought success to Wabash
County Chamber of Commerce members, the Indiana
Chambers Executive Association, and the state network of
county Chambers, and her 2011 Chamber Executive of the
Year Award is well deserved: Therefore,
SECTION 1. The Indiana General Assembly congratulates Kimberly A. Pinkerton on winning the Indiana Chamber Executive Association's 2011 Chamber Executive of the Year Award. SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to Kimberly Pinkerton.
