A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring Oak Hill United School
Corporation for being named to the College Board's 3rd Annual
AP District Honor Roll.

MADAM PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring Oak Hill United
School Corporation for being named to the College Board's 3rd
Annual AP District Honor Roll.
Whereas, The College Board recently recognized schools
with placement on the 3rd Annual AP District Honor Roll for
simultaneously increasing access to Advanced Placement
course work while increasing the percentage of students
earning scores of 3 or higher on Advanced Placement Exams;
Whereas, A total of 539 school districts across the U.S. and
Canada, including 21 school districts from Indiana, were
recognized with placement on the Honor Roll;
Whereas, Oak Hill United School Corporation was named
to the College Board's 3rd Annual AP District Honor Roll in
2012;
Whereas, Oak Hill United School Corporation is located in
Converse, Indiana and is under the leadership of
Superintendent Joel Martin; and
Whereas, Oak Hill United School Corporation is working
together with the community to empower each student with the
knowledge, skills, and high standards which prepare them to be
successful, contributing members of a changing global society.
We wish them continued success: Therefore,
SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate congratulates Oak Hill United School Corporation on being named to the College Board's 3rd Annual AP District Honor Roll.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Superintendent Joel Martin.
