Warsaw, Indiana Teacher of the Year.

MADAM PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
A SENATE RESOLUTION congratulating Christy Fulk,
Warsaw, Indiana Teacher of the Year.
Whereas, Whitley County resident Christy Fulk was named
Warsaw's Teacher of the Year for her work at Sacred Heart
Catholic grade school in Warsaw, Indiana;
Whereas, Christy Fulk has been teaching the first grade for
five years. She was nominated for the Teacher of the Year
award by the staff members and parents of students at her
school;
Whereas, Mrs. Fulk lives in South Whitley with her
husband, Eric, and daughter, Erin. She is the daughter of
Richard and Jean Buchanan;
Whereas, After graduating from Columbia City High
School in 2000, Mrs. Fulk went on to earn a degree in
Elementary Education and Mild Interventions from the
University of Saint Francis; and
Whereas, Christy Fulk is now eligible for the Indiana Teacher of the Year Award; and
Whereas, Mrs. Fulk's outstanding leadership skills and teaching abilities within her community have set her apart among her peers : Therefore,
SECTION 1. The Indiana General Assembly congratulates Mrs.
Christy Fulk on being named Teacher of the Year for Warsaw, Indiana
and wishes her luck as she competes for Teacher of the Year for the
state of Indiana.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to
transmit a copy of this Resolution to Christy Fulk and her husband,
Eric Fulk.
