An Act regarding reimbursement for physician health insurance credentialing.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 1.  Upon completion of the verification and approval of an application for credentialing, a health insurance carrier shall pay for all covered health care services provided to its insured with payment retroactive to the date the credentialing application was submitted to the carrier, and that no carrier shall enter into a contract with a provider that waives such right to retroactive reimbursement
