An Act to exempt medicines from the sales tax.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (l) of section 6 of chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 171 by inserting after the phrase “sales of insulin;” the following:— sales of over-the-counter medicines including brand name and generic drugs and medicines and nutritional supplements on prescriptions of registered physicians
