An Act improving accessibility to commuter rail stations in the city of Newton.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority shall expend such funds as are necessary for the design and construction of improvements to the Auburndale, West Newton and Newtonville commuter rail stations to ensure that said stations are accessible, functional, and safe for use by persons with disabilities.
