An Act relative to notification by the registry of motor vehicles.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The first paragraph of section 8D of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-The registrar shall cause a notice of license renewal to be sent to each person licensed to operate a motor vehicle under this chapter no less than 45 days prior to the expiration of the license to allow sufficient time for renewal of the operator’s license.
