An Act relative to telemarketing solicitation.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Section 5A of chapter 159C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:-

(c) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, a telemarketer shall include, with each pre-recorded telephone telemarketing message and facsimile telemarketing message to residents and businesses, an option to said resident or business that they can be removed from any future call list and the method by which such removal can occur.
