An Act relative to the registration of motor vehicles.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

            Section 2 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the second sentence the following sentence:- The registry shall require the applicant to provide positive proof of identity and residential address by means of a government issued identification or a suitable alternative as determined by the registrar.
