Resolve providing for a hearing to study commercial tenant energy efficiency.
Be it
enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Resolved,
That the State Board of Building Regulations and Standards shall hold a public hearing pursuant to G.L. Chapter 30A and Chapter 143, §§94 and 97, to determine whether to amend the Building Code (780 CMR) to allow commercial landlords to sub-meter tenant electric accounts in commercial office spaces larger than ten thousand (10,000) square feet.
