Chapter 71, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after section 47A the following section:—
Section 47B
A school committee may require that all students, coaches, officials, parents or guardians of students sign a contractual code of conduct as a condition of participation by the student in all athletic programs. The code of conduct shall require the student, coaches, officials, parents or guardians to refrain from verbal or physical threats or abuse aimed at any other student, coach, official, parents or guardians.
