An Act relative to insurance coverage for mental health.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 32A of the General Laws as so appearing is hereby further amended in section 22 subsection (g) by inserting, in line 83 after the word “license.”, the following:--

Any willing licensed mental health professional as defined in this chapter, section 22(i), shall be able to provide treatment to the insured not limited to that individual’s participation as a network credentialed provider.

SECTION 2. Chapter 175 of the General Laws as so appearing is hereby further amended in section 47B subsection (g) by inserting, in line 86 after the word “license.”, the following:--

Any willing licensed mental health professional as defined in this chapter, section 22(i), shall be able to provide treatment to the insured not limited to that individual’s participation as a network credentialed provider.

SECTION 3. Chapter 176A of the General Laws as so appearing is hereby further amended in section 8A subsection (g) by inserting, in line 84 after the word “license.”, the following:--

Any willing licensed mental health professional as defined in this chapter, section 22(i), shall be able to provide treatment to the insured not limited to that individual’s participation as a network credentialed provider.

SECTION 4. Chapter 176B of the General Laws as so appearing is hereby further amended in section 4A subsection (g) by inserting, in line 86 after the word “license.”, the following:--

Any willing licensed mental health professional as defined in this chapter, section 22(i), shall be able to provide treatment to the insured not limited to that individual’s participation as a network credentialed provider.

SECTION 5. Chapter 176G of the General Laws as so appearing is hereby further amended in section 4M subsection (g) by inserting, in line 84 after the word “license.”, the following:--

Any willing licensed mental health professional as defined in this chapter, section 22(i), shall be able to provide treatment to the insured not limited to that individual’s participation as a network credentialed provider.
