An Act Relative to Civil Service Hearings.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 41 of chapter 31 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the third sentence, the following sentence:-
Said hearing shall be commenced in not less than 10 nor more than 15 days after the employee gives the appointing authority written notice and once the hearing has commenced it shall be continuous until the hearing is completed.
