An Act allowing municipal employment after retirement.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.

 

 

 

 
Paragraph (b) of section 91 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-  Notwithstanding any other provisions of this section, any person who is receiving a pension or retirement allowance from the commonwealth may be employed in the service of a city, town or district without being subject to the hours and earnings restrictions of the previous sentence.

SECTION 2.  Paragraph (c) of said section 91 of said chapter 32, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the word “shall”, in line 90, and inserting in place thereof the following words:- ,with the exception of any person receiving a pension or retirement allowance from the commonwealth and employed by a city, town or district, shall
