An Act requiring photographs on protective orders.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of chapter 209A, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “order.”, in line 3, the following 2 sentences:- Whenever an order is made permanent, the court shall cause a color photograph of the defendant, or a color copy thereof, to be affixed to each certified copy transmitted pursuant to section 7. The photograph shall be taken by the probation department during any appearance by the defendant related to the issuance of the order.
