An Act establishing a lead service replacement program - municipal
reimbursement.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Department of Environmental Protection is hereby directed to establish a Lead Service Replacement Program to assist cities and towns in replacing lead service lines.
SECTION 2. The Commonwealth shall reimburse cities and towns for the cost of replacing lead service lines.
