An Act relative to the punishment for sale and storage of
fireworks.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 39 of chapter 148 of the Massachusetts General Laws appearing in the 2004 Official Edition is hereby amended by striking the words “one thousand dollars” in line 18, and inserting in place thereof the following words:- two thousand dollars.
SECTION 2. Section 45 of chapter 148 of the Massachusetts General Laws appearing in the 2004 Official Edition is hereby amended by striking the words “five hundred dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following:- one thousand dollars.
