HOUSE BILL NO. 4117

A bill to exclude athletic trainers from attending health care professionals for purposes of section 28 of article I of the state constitution of 1963.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 1. As used in section 28 of article I of the state constitution of 1963, "attending health care professional" does not include an athletic trainer as that term is defined in section 17901 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.17901.
