HOUSE BILL No. 4201

A bill to direct the expenditure of a certain portion of a
county millage to certain local units of government.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 1. Any contrary provision of law notwithstanding, if a
county levies a millage, that county shall expend not less than 75%
of the proceeds from that millage levied on property located in a
city, village, or township within the city, village, or township
from which the proceeds were collected.
