HOUSE BILL NO. 4468
A bill to amend 1953 PA 232, entitled
"Corrections code of 1953,"
(MCL 791.201 to 791.285) by adding section 8c.
the people of the state of michigan enact:
Sec. 8c. As used in section 8b:
(a) "State correctional employee" means an individual employed by the department in a correctional facility.
(b) "Wellness services" means services that address issues related to the health and well-being of current and retired state correctional employees, including, but not limited to, employee engagement and retention, and correctional officer depression and rates of suicide.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless House Bill No. 4467 of the 101st Legislature is enacted into law.
